We weren't in a hurry, but that gave us plenty of time to look at different options.... hardwood was what we wanted for our stairs, and downstairs bathrooms and foyer. But, we have some weird patches in the floor, and so Marcus recommended luxury vinyl plank from Coretec. It looks just like hardwood, but costs half the price. The team worked around our schedule to get the floors and stairs installed at the end of November/beginning of December. They were all very professional, and super helpful. Any time that I had a question, they were happy to answer and always made us feel well taken care of. Working with Flooring FX was honestly a very smooth and efficient experience from start to finish.... read more They are professional, reliable and they executed high quality work for us. They worked hard to make sure the project was completed on time (early, actually) and at cost. They helped find us movers too!

We had Marcus out to look at our predicament - old asbestos tiling throughout the main parts of the house. We evaluated a couple of options, including keeping the tiling down and working over it. After a lot of deliberation, we ultimately decided to remove the tile and put the new engineered hardwood floors down directly on the sub-flooring. Marcus provided expert guidance in figuring out how to safely remove the tiles, and his guys made very quick work on it.

The floors went in quickly and they did a *really* nice job on it. The crew was helpful deciding direction of the planks, respectful, on time, hard working, fast and very good at their jobs.

We purchased a home that had nice, solid hardwood flooring in some areas while cheap carpet in others.... read more After dealing with the mismatch and other home projects, we decided to remove all the carpet and replace it with the same hardwood flooring. While it took a bit of legwork to find the exact match for the hardwood, once the flooring was located and secured, Ned and Tony did an amazing job. When the carpet was up, they took the time to screw down the sub flooring and eliminate the various creaks and squeaks that had been noted over time. When the job was done, we were left wondering why we didn't do this earlier; the flooring looks amazing and seamlessly fits with the existing hardwood - we couldn't be more pleased. I've noted that sometimes with glowing reviews there's a word potpourri tossed around - 'honest, on time, excellent, fair, great work, no problems, pleasure to work with' - and often I'm left wondering if it's well deserved or just fluff.
